We are happy to share the following updates for the coming year at Reclaim Interiors:
1. We will be working in teams now.
2. We have new organizing rates as of March 1, 2025.
3. Our design process is shifting to primarily flat rate pricing and Trade-only furniture.
4. Everything is going to be OK. Actually, better! So take a deep breath :)
Teams

Reclaim Interiors will be evolving into a team model, meaning we will be prioritizing projects that involve a team lead and at least one assistant. Sometimes that team lead will be me, and sometimes it will not. That determination will be made on a project by project basis, taking into consideration scheduling and workload considerations. If your current project cannot accommodate another person (that determination will be made by you and me together), I will do my best to provide continuity. But it may also involve eventually transitioning your project to another team member.
It is my intention that this team model will better serve our clients by allowing us to complete projects more quickly with more attention and focus and with more capacity for timely follow-up appointments, maintenance, and other additional services that may be required (e.g. donation drop-offs, donation research and pickup coordination, various types of disposals, product research and shopping, etc.)
Rates
I have striven to keep my rates steady and approachable for a long time. This is evidenced by the fact that some of you have never seen a rate increase in the entire time we have worked together. That this is unsustainable should hardly come as a surprise.
During my time away, I have done a thorough review of the data - competition, increased costs by our suppliers and servicers, increased cost of living across the board, and fair pay for team members. All of these factors have gone into developing new rates that are competitive in our market and still give our clients a range of pricing options that can suit their individual needs.

Team rate (2 organizers) - $225/hour
Team rate (3 organizers) - $330/hour
Assistant organizer rate - $105/hour
Owner rate - $135/hour
We are maintaining our previous 4 hour minimum and are instituting a 6 hour maximum unless these times are specifically discussed and agreed upon prior to our arrival.
Design Projects
Understanding that there will be cases when our clients only need assistance for certain aspects of a room or project, we will be offering Designer On Call and Consultations in addition to our full-service design projects. Designer On Call will be a retainer-based service that you use at your discretion over a period of time and a Consultation that will be a one-time, fixed fee, fixed length in-home appointment. If products are being recommended as a part of these services, they will be primarily from retail sources.

However, our main focus for design will be full-scale design projects and short term rental set-ups. These projects, where we get to redesign every aspect of a room, are where our talents really shine. Even better, these are projects where we can implement a flat-rate fee, which will give you the security of knowing your overall cost from the outset of a project.
In order to keep our flat-rate fees reasonable, we will also be purchasing from our Trade-only vendors. This means that you will purchase through Reclaim Interiors at a price that is less than or equal to a retail source (if there is one) but part of our income will be derived from these sales. We have invested considerable time and effort investigating these sources and are confident in their quality for the price point. It also means you will only need to deal with one point of contact (us) should any issues arise in the future.
